*A new book sits on a table, as you open it up you can smell new parchment. The ink inside is clear and the flowing hand is easy to read. As your eyes follow it it tells a tale of the Lightsworn Legion*

The Lightsworn Legion

Following the Knight's of Virtue, the Legion was founded by Guilid Frozenfist, with aid from Elumni Shimmerspring and Knight Zendon. These 3 sort to follow the Knight's aims, but enlist outside aid.

These non-Paladins would be called "Lightsworn" and anyone sworn to the light could enter the ranks and rise to power. This naturally ruled out Warlocks and Priests who specialized in the darker sides of magic, as they drew power from the absence of Light.

The Legion quickly came in fierce clashes with the vile cult House Serpentcrest. They used dark magics to raise the dead and wanted death to all Paladins and members of the Alliance, and the Legion started a Crusade against these villains. They proclaimed themselves servants and embodiments of Darkness, and would stop at nothing to sniff out every Light in existence.

After a while of growing and active participation in the war, Guilid, sadly, left the Legion. He went in search of family. Following Guilidīs departure, Sir Elumni left as well. However, this wrong was made right soon, as Guilid returned to the Legion. But during Guilidīs absence, it had been decided that Uthixo was to be Highlord. Guilid agreed, and from then, Uthixo led the Legion.

This Legion, continued itīs activities. As they grew in power, some of their great deeds was done. Among them is the famous cleansing of Raven Hill Cemetery.

As the Legion went on, they came to realize that they had to remove their hostility against shadow-priests and warlocks. The only things that makes one evil are the choices a person makes. Wielding evil magic wasnīt necessarily evil.

After a brief period of peace and prosperity, Uthixo learned about the Scarlet Crusadeīs involvement in his adopted fatherīs disappearance. Uthixo immediately set out to question them, first in peace, then in peaceful negotiations, then, he attempted force. He was repelled every time by the zealous believers in the Monastery. In the end, he was captured, and tortured to madness, and made a member of the Crusade. He would take the place of Herod, whom he had killed.

At one of the meetings, his madness came forth in full clarity, as he entered the room, dressed in clothings of the Scarlet Crusade and the flaming tabard, ordering all the members of the Legion to join the Crusade. Hatos the Banisher stood forth, and challenged Uthixo to a duel.

They ventured to the roof, and battled. The fight stretched for several minutes, but Uthixo, who was no longer able to call upon the Light because of his madness, was defeated by Hatos. Although, through trickery, Uthixo lured Hatos into believing he had repented and was himself. But as Hatos hesitated, Uthixo stroke the blow that ultimately won him the fight.

Hatos was healed by friends, and once more they fought. Uthixo did not receive healing, and so, Hatos won easily. Something in Uthixo snapped, and he threw himself off the roof, killing himself. However, the Legion refused to believe that Uthixo was evil, and so they resurrected him. Uthixo came to his senses, and cried for forgiveness. Suddenly, Hatos was gone.

Uthixo was Highlord once again. Hatos was gone, however, he returned abruptly in a meeting, simply apologizing for his absence. No one could question the Light, so they remained silent.

Eladriel, High Elder of The Golden Leaf and The Silver Leaf, and Uthixo Lightfort, Highlord of The Lightsworn Legion, created the Auberdine Alliance. It's goal was primarily to stop the Scourge and The Burning Legion, and try to maintain a peace between The Horde and The Alliance while doing so, so that they can peacefully work together. This worked well. After a while, The House of Lothar joined the Alliance.

The Legion tried once again to cleanse Raven Hill Cemetery. Numerous casualties occurred, but everyone survived, thanks to skilled healers and Uthixo's and his friends' resurrecting.
